From Aimee: "I was getting my degree in Fine Art while Dennis was getting his in psychology. After putting painting on hold for 30 years, to raise a family and to pose for Dennis’s many figure paintings, I finally started painting again. It was this same time Dennis started teaching through his online courses which I filmed and often took part in the discussions of his method. I would also accompany Dennis traveling all over the world to assist him in teaching workshops. When I started painting again, I used the Perrin Method that Dennis had devised, to re-teach myself how to paint."

Aimee Perrin studied painting and sketching at Southeastern Louisiana University and spent more than three decades working alongside her husband, Dennis Perrin – modeling for thousands of paintings, supporting his artistic evolution, and witnessing the inner workings of a master’s studio from the inside out. For years she has quietly mentored students through workshops and online programs, offering insight, encouragement, and an intuitive understanding of the creative process.
Today, Aimee steps forward not just as a guide, but as a mentor for artists ready to grow. Her coaching blends lived experience, artistic sensitivity, and grounded wisdom – empowering you to elevate your work, refine your voice, and fully step into the next level of your artistry.
